Dragon Fruit Shake

Well to my disappointment the shake does not taste as fiery as the name addresses. Nor does the image look very scary. However, the taste is very unusual and unique just like dragons, so I guess there is a bit of an assembles there.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1/2 dragon fruit

2 scoops Herbalife F1 vanilla

100ml semi-skimmed milk

3 ice cubes

Instructions:

Add all the ingredients into blender…and blend

Serve and enjoy!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

I was so excited to try this recipe. I have never ever tried pumpkin before. It was not until last year (I think) that I found out that you could eat pumpkin… Yikes. Yes yes, sorry to all you Pumpkin lovers, you must all think that I am insane. But you learn something everyday.

I had this as lunch on Halloween. By the way, Halloween was definitely spooky it was a nice and sunny after noon, and BOOM!, Suddenly out of no were it was raining so much I literally thought that it was a hurricane in the making. But thankfully we don’t get them here in the UK.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

200g pumpkin puree (I made my own )

1/2 Banana

2 scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Vanilla

Pumpkin Spice or All Spice (make your own with: cinnamon, ginger, clover, nutmeg)

(I added some Fage 0% Greek yoghurt on top to make it like a pumpkin pie!)

Black Witch Blueberry Smoothie

I was really missing the summer berries. So I felt like I needed a bit of a summer taste before Christmas beggings, plus Blueberries creates a dark smoothie perfect for Halloween. I like to add a bit of banana to my shakes as it helps to thicken the smoothie. The shake may look scary from the photograph, but it’s so nice and refreshing. Plus now you will also probably start to eat warm soups and foods because of the cold weather. 

Serves 1

Ingredients:

50g Blueberries

100g Plain Greek Yoghurt

1/2 Banana

2 Scoops Herbalife Formula 1 Vanilla

100 ml Water or milk (milk may make the smoothie a bit thicker)

3 Ice cubes (For a thicker and more icy smoothie just add more)

Green Vietnamese Snot Smoothie

Well, before I posted this new recipe on here, I was thinking about a name for it. Well I had in my head ‘snot’ simply just because the colour makes it look like it, however it reminds me of an Vietnam recipe so I had to mix them both together. Finally, when I made this recipe again and my mum happened to walk into the kitchen she saw the colours, and without knowing that I had called it ‘snot’ in my head, she said that it looks like it. Perfect, ok well then I have to use this name, haha.

 Trust me, the name may put you off, but don’t let it. It is absolutely delicious and I love the thickness of this smoothie.

Ingredients:

½ avocado

2 scoops Free From Formula 1 (it’s not going to taste the same with another flavour, or the normal vanilla)

1 tsp Herbal Beverage (lemon or peach)

1 capful mango Aloe Vera

150-200ml water (depends on how thick you like your smoothie)

Instructions:

Add all the ingredients into a blender

Blend, brrrzzzz!

 And FINITO, enjoy!

Tip “Add a little extra green tea for that distinct flavour”
